Ellen Butting Heads?
Haha, I'm so not surprised, though I don't care to keep up 'cause American Idol is still overrated IMO. But, enjoy what you like!
So anyways, apparently Ellen and Simon are butting heads... personally, I think part of the "charm" of this show is Simon. When I have watched, he was always the most interesting (except when Paula was drunk... those were definitely the most hilarious albeit unprofessional moments).
Personally, I think it'll be good TV for Ellen to shake things up. It's what sells, anyways. But I still won't be watching. (Unless I happen to walk in on my sister watching it... because she does).

Why I Don't Want to Play
My cousins are here in town, along with my Grandma. This doesn't happen very often, but when it does there is a certain card game we all like to play. Except I don't when my aunt plays. She is extremely competitive, and I am too. But that's not why I don't want to play. I don't like to play because she likes to control who's on what team, and she has (since Christmas 2005) picked me to be her number 1 competitor. But not only that - when she wins (and usually my Grandma is on her team, who is my favorite person to play with), she gloats. Big time. To me. But not to anyone else the way she does to me. My grandma decided, after me telling her this, that we will pick numbers to see who's on who's team so nobody can control it - but I still don't want to play. Because if by chance she and my grandma are together, and I am on the opposite team, and they win, she will still gloat. And that makes me mad. Especially because nobody else sees it, because she does it in a crafty way. So I just don't want to play, to avoid that mess. But nobody understands - not my Grandma, not my mom, not entirely my sister (but at least she understands it theoretically, even if not in practicality). My grandma and my mom like to keep asking, keep telling me to play. To which I want to say, suck it. Because if I already told you once, I mean it. I don't want to be badgered about it.

RIP Michael Jackson
I know I'm a little late with this update, but there's always going to be news with his family. Now there's a potential custody battle, and Michael's ex Debbie Rowe states that she never wanted to be a mother, although according to US Weekly it's unsure of whether or not she will fight for custody of their two kids (and I haven't heard about Michael's third one). Paris gave a compelling short speech about her father at the funeral, and I really hope the kids don't get messed up in all of this. I have no idea who should get custody of them, but I hope it's quick and peaceful.

Jon + Kate No More
DListed.com revealed that Jon and Kate are, in fact, getting a divorce. Nobody yet knows what will happen to their kids as far as custody goes (whether they will each take turns with all eight or separate them, and then of course the times in which each parent has them), but if the eight year contract I've heard about is in fact true, then Kate will probably be making more money than Jon, and he *might* not have to pay child support. Unless they do not split custody equally. Quite frankly, about two years ago when I was watching the show I predicted that eventually they would get divorce (unless something was to change, which it didn't). That was one prediction I didn't want to come true, but here it is. I really feel for the kids.

When you Believe
see relatedAlmost Done
I am almost done with school! I am moving out tomorrow, which is rather sad, because next year I'm not living on campus.
On the upside, I have everything done except for my calc. final
On the downside, I still have my calc. final.
I studied for a majority of the afternoon and got rewarded with a headache.
And for that I need some of this:
But alas, I will remain alcohol free tonight. I still must study some more.
